The Dungeon Drop Dilemma

To illustrate a clearer more personal picture, let's color an ordinary, everyday scenario together. Not wanting to get behind on gear, you take some time out of your daily routine and warm up the old WoW box; logging onto your main to que up for your daily heroic. Pressing the find group button in eager anticipation in making some awesomeness happen, you instead groan in dissatisfaction at the average wait time being well over 20 minutes! Feeling rather annoyed, you run around in a circle a few times then head out to do your dailies while you wait for the dungeon to pop. Well after the estimated time has gone by, you hear that faithful(drum roll please) 'DUN DUN DUN'. Finally, the wait is over and your irritation has been relieved! Everyone gets inside together, buffs up, and the tank makes that first faithful trash pull...

But wait! The healer wasn't inside yet, and that one stupid DPS death knight decided to pull some mobs, causing everyone to die. Shrugging your shoulders in determination, you zone back into the dungeon, only to have the tank drop! The pull happy death knight blames the tank and calls him a moron, and then the healer leaves too without notice. Relieved you still have 3 DPS and a position at the top of the line, you decide to reque. After some waiting, you get a fresh druid heals and warrior tank. The healer comments that the tank only has 115K health, not being anywhere near enough to tank this heroic. Being an arrogant Tauren warrior, he pulls without a word. The healer keeps the tank up well enough, and things finally seem to be working again...and then your dead! What the hell happened now? Let's check the charts. Damn, another tank that can't hold aggro! The tank makes a smart ass comment and leaves, followed by the healer and a DPS. Stuck with that original noob death knight as the only one to que with, you press the button and wait for more people. "Sorry bud but I gotta go." says the death knight as he leaves party, pulling you out of que and back at the bottom of the dungeon line. You log off frustrated, not wanting to wait 25 minutes for another fail group.

Now that I've gotten everyone riled up as they think about these painful memories, what is the point? The dungeon finder system is broken. It's sucked since day one of patch 3.3.3, and now it's just as bad, if not worse. There is a lot of potential behind the dungeon finder, Blizzard just needs to modify it so it doesn't operate like it's still in alpha phase for matching up players! Until Blizz will take real action, the wipes will continue, and you won't get anything done. What do you think can be done to fix it, because I sure as hell don't have any suggestions?! Keep queing my friends, the fail pugs are just a 25 minute wait away!

Even if you feel that you can defeat the enemy, what is the cost to your ship. Are you running low on ammo or missiles? Can your ship and it's equipment handle a prolonged engagement? Often, especially at the lower levels, it is best to get out of the engagement as quickly as possible, either destroy the enemy or avoid the fight.

When taking missions from your local contact at your home station, the missions will be rated, be sure that you are only taking missions that you are rated for. You can take missions higher than your rating, but if you get into trouble, or start taking too much damage, turning and getting out of the fight while you can is often the best choice. It is cheaper to repair your ship and re-arm it, then buy a replacement and re-arm and re-equip everything. Knowing what ship and armor to take into each engagement is a critical piece of knowledge that can be the difference between success and failure.

Combat and mission however, are not the only way to make ISK (Eve Online money), in Eve. Mining can be very lucrative if done correctly. You can start mining with your beginner ship and start to save enough to actually upgrade your ship fairly quickly. If you continue to mine, you will eventually need to upgrade to a larger mining barge, one that can hold many times the ore that a non-mining vessel can hold. World of Warcraft Cataclysm Rogue Leveling Guide

The Rogue is a pure Damage Dealing class which uses Leather and its main stat to boost is Agility which gives loads of great things, such as higher dodge chance, higher Critical strike chance, more attack power, higher armor etc. The Rogue's ?patented? move is all the stuns they got, this is what most people associate with rogues, these should always be used in both PvE (Player vs Environment and PvP (Player vs Player) to lower the damage dealt to you, which means that you won't have to eat that often and therefore level up faster. You should also level up First Aid because this can be used while an enemy is blinded, gouged, sapped, or stunned.

The Rogue class got 3 talent trees, Assassination, Combat, and Subtlety and they are all good for different things. If you're interested in leveling (and because you're reading this, I guess you are) then you should choose the Combat tree because this is purely made for leveling and PvE. The abilities in there are just unimaginable awesome the first time you use them.

Start with putting your Talent pints In Combat, Get 3/3 Improved Sinister Strike, After that 3/3 Precision. Then go ahead and get 2/2 Improved Slice and Dice, most people think this talent is useless but it's really one of your best leveling abilities through the game. Then get 3/3 Aggression because this will boost your damage once you get all three talent points in there. Then go ahead and take 3/3 Lightning Reflexes and Revealing Strike. Then put 3/3 in Combat Potency and 2/2 in reinforced Leather. After that you should get the Adrenaline Rush, this one should only be used when you're fighting mobs with high health or multiple mobs at the same time. Then get 2/2 Savage Combat. 2/2 Throwing Specialization. Then just take the one's left below these, 2/2 Restless Blades, 3/3 Bandit's Guile and of course, the last thing which is one of the best attacks in the game, Killing Spree.

Now open the Assassination tree tab and put three talents in Lethality, making it 3/3. Then put another 3/3 in Coup de Grace and 1/3 in Ruthlessness.

Then open the Subtlety Tree and put your last talents in Relentless Strikes, 3/3.

This is the best Rogue build for leveling and it's all updated for Cataclysm, If you however feel like using the Assassination tree or the Sub one then first try Combat because I'm certain that you will enjoy it. If you tried it and want to try some others then I recommend Assassination.

This has made the Shaman class more popular that it was before and now you can see them in both the Alliance and the Horde factions.

Another thing that's associated with Shamans is their Blood Lust (Horde) and Heroism (Alliance) buff, which gives the whole raid, not just 5, but up to 25 people 30% increased melee/casting speed for 40 seconds. This is the single most important ability for raiding in large groups and every guild/raid/party is always looking for at least 1 Shaman, doesn't really matter what spec you are, they will invite you. They can summon Fire and Earth elementals which helps the party as well, it can tank for a short amount of time if you're not facing a raid boss.

The Shaman class got many different abilities that helps them during the 1-85 leveling time, one of these abilities is the Ghost Wolf. It will increase your movement speed by 40% and you can learn if from your trainer at the low level of 16. They can also ress themselves with the Reincarnation ability, but it does have a 1 hour cooldown. They can, just like priests/paladins, ress other players with no cooldown. They also have a Hearth Stone that's on 15 minutes cooldown,, their Astral Recall makes it possible to portal to where your hearth stone is currently set to.

The three different talent trees are just as I stated in the beginning, Elemental, Enhancement and Resto.

The Elemental tree is made for doing damage as a caster, they have some nice instant casts as well as Lightning bolt, shocks, totems etc. Their most known ability is the AoE one that throw people of bridges/elevators /middle of EotS (Eye of the Storm)

Enhancement is made for doing melee damage, their special attack are the wolves that fight at their side, stunning the enemies and healing the shaman.

And of course the Resto tree which is made for Healing both in PvE and PvP. Chain heals has become more popular in Cataclysm, hence Resto Shamas are more attractive to raid healing.
